I have a 1981 silver penny is it worth anything? I am aware they did not make silver penny's at that time, but could it be a mishap or even steel? If by a "silver penny" you mean one of the 1943 steel cents, then in mint condition it's worth a dollar or two. If you mean some other date, then it's silver plated and has no collector value.
