Cheadle's face is basically a perfect Don Cheadle's character is asked to basically do the same thing in this as Darwyn Al-Sayeed does did in that show. To sum up traitor is 2 hours of fast flowing predictable fair that is hard to criticise but is also difficult heap praise on. 7 out of 10 Traitor is a 2008 American spy thriller film, based on an idea by Steve Martin who is also an executive producer. I liked the movie enough that after watching it on PRIME I went ahead and ordered it on disc for my collection of personal favorites. Great cast and characters. I've always liked Don Cheadle and Guy Pierce in the roles they've portrayed. I felt the story was solid all the way throughout. More than halfway-decent, Traitor attempts to tell an objective tale, the struggles of an extremist from his side of the story. Don Cheadle delivers a magnificent performance, as the troubled Samir, unsure of where his loyalties truly lie. Traitor is mostly formulaic, but the intensity of the performances from Cheadle, Like the protagonist of the movie, Traitor exists with conflicting loyalties and a fleeting sense of fidelity to its honorable yet ultimately porous intentions.
